The “Casa do Governador” was born in 2012, after the renovation of a family home that has been it has been passed down from generation to generation.

The owners made sure to keep some original features of the house during its renovation and to reutilise some materials provided by its surroundings, giving it a rustic and contemporary look.

Our country House has seven unique rooms and each one of them is decorated differently, taking us back in history but with a modern twist.

The House has all the commodities of your home, which include: air-conditioning, central heating, wi-fi, outdoor pool, bar and free parking.

You can also enjoy chariot rides and taste local food, cooked by our house Chef.

This centanery house, with about 28 hectares, is settled in an ecologically protected area, only 3 km away from the centre of Évora and 500m from Convento do Espinheiro. Early in the 19th century, it was used as an infirmary and quarantine local for the ancients monks of the convent.

Nowadays, the property has 5 hectares of vineyards. This investment was made so that wine can be produced once again in this property.
